(H)I am honored and privileged to
personally know all of the members of
this fine band. Having lived here in
Jacksonville for greater part of my
life, I find that it is easy to take
our city's talent for granted. The
JJC is a reminder of what we have to
offer the city, the state and even
the country. The JJC is ushering in a
new era of creative collaboration
here in Jacksonville, comprised of
world-class musicians that each has
their own individual voice, all
coming together to make a creative
statement that pays tribute to the
past while looking ahead to the
future. I'm excited to see what lies
ahead for the JJC, but even more
excited to see what other groups will
be born out of the seed of
inspiration that the JJC has planted
here in Jax! Swing on boys!
